Rules & Guidelines
All submissions must be tagged with #OmigiriWeek2025 for SFW works and #NSFWOmigiriWeek2025 for NSFW works, as well as include the day + prompts used. Our main account @fanweekomigiri should also be directly tagged so that we can retweet your work! If we miss your submission, feel free to DM it to us.
The main pairing in any work should be Omigiri. Other ships can be included as side pairings.
Plagiarism and AI-generated works (both writing and art) are strictly forbidden. Any works must be created by yourself.
Old works that fit the prompts can be reshared.
Please ensure that you tag your works with any additional tags/necessary content warnings. It is also your own duty to ensure that your muted words are up to date. Event mods and creators are not responsible for the curation of your online experience.
We will be accepting late submissions until May 19th, so don't worry if you are unable to post on the exact day you've created something for!
Any form of writing is allowed! This includes (but is not limited to) threads, socmed AUs, AO3 fics, and Tumblr posts.
AO3 fics should be accompanied with a description (i.e. a screenshot of the tags + summary, a fic graphic, etc.) of the work.
We will also have AO3 collections (SFW and NSFW) where you can add your fics, so that everything from this event can be in one place!
However, if your works are not properly tagged, they will not be accepted into the collection.
Multi-chapter works do not have to be completed by the end of the event!
Any medium is welcome! This can include digital art, physical art, collages, sculptures – whatever you can think of!
Ensure that any shared works are appropriately tagged. Again, works without the right tagging will not be reshared on the main account.
There is no limit to how much can be created. You can make a comic, multiple works for one prompt, an ongoing series...whatever works for you!
This event contains and will promote NSFW works.
All dynamics are welcome!
Dead dove is permitted in this event, but it must be tagged properly. Do not use leet speech (i.e. replacing letters with symbols l1ke thi$) or any other means of censoring as this will bypass any muted words and phrases that people have. For more information on what 'dead dove' refers to, take a look at this link containing the history of the phrase as well as how it is currently used in fandom spaces.
We ask that dead dove artworks be hidden behind a Privatter/Poipiku link – these must still be appropriately tagged in the main tweet! DD Privatter/Poipiku submissions will be retweeted on our main account, but works that are not hidden behind passwords will not be reshared. The #NSFWOmigiriFanweek2025 tag may still be used.
We want this event to be fun, safe, and accessible to everyone. Again, please ensure that you have the right words/phrases/tags muted as other people are not responsible for your online experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is this event?
This is a fanweek, which is a week-long period created by and for fans of a character, pairing, or media. This particular fanweek is dedicated to the ship Omigiri (also known as SakuOsa or OsaSaku) which is between the characters Sakusa Kiyoomi and Miya Osamu from Haikyuu!!The name Omigiri is made from Sakusa’s nickname ‘Omi’ and the word ‘Onigiri’, which relates to Osamu’s timeskip occupation as the owner of a restaurant by the name of ‘Onigiri Miya’.How do the prompts work?
Each day has set prompts – a quote, a trope, and an alternative universe (AU) setting. Creators then use these prompts to create a work!It is not a requirement to use every prompt on a day! You can choose to just use one, or two of the prompts, or all of them – mixing and matching is okay!
Days can also be combined, just make that clear in your tagging. Is there a minimum word count/completion expectation?
Nope! You can write/draw/create as much or as little as you want.Do I have to create something for every day?
It is not required to create something for every prompt on the list. Life happens and people get busy – create to the best of your ability! Is there a minimum age to participate?
Anyone of any age can use the SFW prompts, but minors are prohibited from using the NSFW prompts. We will not reshare any NSFW works created by people who are under 18/don’t have their age somewhere on their profile. Is this event Twitter only?
Our main account will remain on Twitter, but we can reshare works from other sites such as Tumblr and TikTok. Just contact us via DMs or our CuriousCat!Can we create in different languages?
Of course! As long as the work relates to Omigiri and the prompts given, works can exist in any language.
